This is a vintage decorative posy vase. A Japanese, ceramic baluster flower urn by Noritake, dating to the Art Deco period, circa 1930.

Delightfully illustrated display vase with gilt and figural detail
Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order
White ceramic in bold baluster from, with narrow neck and rim
Accentuated with an appealing palette of colours and gilt touches

Several panels around the form show traditional Kabuki scenes
Scenes depict figures upon the river or along its banks
Maker's mark to base for Noritake - Made in Japan with the post-1902 Maruki symbol
