This is a heavy vintage decorative coffee table. A Dutch, slate and brass inlay Brutalist low table by Paul Kingma, dating to the late 20th century, circa 1980.
Paul Kingma (1931 - 2013) was a Dutch sculptor and later mosaic specialist, well known for his striking, heavy coffee tables in the 1960s onwards. Later tables from his Tableaux series incorporated petrified wood and fossils. Born in The Hague, Kingma's sculptures can be found in Utrecht and Eindhoven et al.
