This is a vintage decorative charger. A Chinese, ceramic display plate, dating to the late Art Deco period, circa 1940.

Fascinating decorative plate, with a traditional Oriental appearance
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout
Quality ceramic displaying a deep cream hue to the fascia, white to the reverse
Fine, hand-drawn foliate decor accentuate with red and golden tones
Replete with red character mark to the base
