This is a tall pair of antique brush pots. A Chinese, hand-carved bamboo bitong or flower vase, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1880.

- Displaying a desirable aged patina, in good original order
- Skilfully carved with an abundance of detail, the bamboo presents bright caramel hues
- The scenes depict merchants within a bamboo forest, further decorated with pavilions
- Excellent examples of Chinese craftsmanship of the late Qing dynasty
