This is a large pair of antique drinking cups. An Italian, bronze over marble decorative goblet in Grand Tour taste, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1850.
- Fine example of relief decor, from the days of the Grand Tour
- Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout
- Quality bronze lightly time worn with medium to dark tones
- Morning Glory flowerheads adorn the body to striking effect
- Pair of serpentine handles sit beneath the wide, circular rim
- Standing upon a deep circular socle crafted from black marble
- Dressed to the base with a protective leather pad
- Substantial weight of 3.06kg and 2.93kg respectively
