This is an antique Woodblock picture. A Japanese, framed ukiyo-e colour print in the manner of Keisai Eisen, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

• Striking Edo period artwork, reproduced with delightful colour and detail
• Presents a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout
• Fine  woodblock detail, printed on paper in appealing colour

• Background features an inset landscape view of a boat on water
• After Keisai Eisen (1790- 1848), representing affluent Edo-period figures (1603 - 1868)

• Original woodblocks created in the 1820s, featuring the figures Michinoku and Michiuta
