This is an antique parlour drinking table. A Scottish, oak tilt-top country house occasional table, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1890.
- Delightful country estate table, with exceptional figuring
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good antique order
- Quality Scottish oak presents fine grain interest and wisps of medullary rays
- Resplendent throughout with warm caramel hues for a refined appearance
- Wide rectangular top ideal for a game of cards, or occasional dining
- Set upon an articulated tilt-top, held securely to the reverse with a brass latch
- Broad turned support stand, playing host to a trio of long cabriole legs
- The whole riding smoothly upon a set of brass castors
