This is an antique hall chair. A Scottish, walnut occasional reception seat, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1860.
- Attractive hallway chair, graced with charming detail and warm colour

- Striking shield back with scrolled leaf crest rail, meeting in a double pediment
- Back splat hosts long scrolls to the edge with a shield motif within the centre
- Tapered seat squab set at a comfortable height of 44cm (17.25'')
- Distinctive butler's grasp to the reverse for ease of placement
- Delightful turned baluster legs at the front over peg feet
- Rear legs gently splayed with square section toes
