This is an antique display table. An English, walnut intimate dining table for 2-4 people, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1840.

Beautifully presented table, with appealing figuring and fine craftsmanship
Displaying a desirable aged patina and in very good order
Select walnut stocks show fine grain interest throughout
Warm caramel hues dance beneath the wax polish finish

Circular top with thick rolled edge over a shallow apron
Superb turned support column with bold baluster finish
Standing elegantly upon a trio of shaped cabriole legs
Prominent at the knee, with a delightful terminus of concentric toes

This is a striking antique display table, versatile throughout the home as an intimate dining table or centrepiece for a grand reception hall. Solid joints and construction, delivered ready for the home or institution.
