This is a small vintage Maimana Kilim rug. A Caucasian, woven decorative carpet or mat, dating to the late 20th century.

Delightfully sized for a prayer mat or doorway at 63.5cm (25'') x 92cm (36.25'')
Artisan hand-crafted using traditional skills with minimal wear or fading
Woven without pile, a Maimana can be laid either side
Colourful geometric patterns a regional hallmark
An array of coloured diamonds with a deep navy blue outline
Further decorated with a sawtooth border and short, loose tassels to both ends
