This is a vintage Maimana Kilim hall runner. A Caucasian, decorative hallway carpet or rug, dating to the late 20th century, circa 1990.

Usefully sized runner at 61cm (24'') x 200cm (78.75'')
Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order
Artisan hand-crafted using traditional skills with minimal wear or fading
Maimanas are woven without pile, ideal for laying either side

Distinctive geometric patterns a hallmark of this region's carpets
An array of coloured diamonds with a broad white outline create a centrepiece panel
Further decorated with a sawtooth border in alternating colours and short, loose tassels to both ends
