This is an antique morning room book cabinet. An English, walnut and burr walnut mirror front bookcase, dating to the Regency period, circa 1820.

• Dashing good looks and superb craftsmanship as expected of the Regency
• Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout
• Select walnut stocks present fine grain interest and rich caramel hues

• With an appealing brilliance, the gently foxed plates offer a fine reflection
• Relief carved brackets add visual distinction surrounding each plate

• Dressed with an ormolu lock escutcheon upon the right hand door — in working order, key present
• Left-hand door closes with a pair of internal brass sliding clasps
• Pair of removable shelves, the tallest capable of hosting larger volumes at a height of 28.5cm
• Standing upon a shaped plinth foot and finished with a fully panelled rear fascia for added appeal
