This is a classic antique writing table, an English, Victorian side table in oak from the late 19th century, circa 1870.

Solid and stable in strong English oak with a desirable aged patina
Honey hues with attractive grain detail in a waxed polished finish
Of quality craftsmanship suitable as a writing, side or console table

The planked top displaying wisps of medullary rays
Raised on attractive, stout, ring turned, barrel legs
United by an 'H' stretcher for added stability
