This is an antique side table. A French, painted pine cafe, lamp or occasional table dating to the late 19th century, circa 1890.

Desirable distressed finish, painted in pastels of mint and country white
Lifted with subtle highlights in gold and a wax polished finish
Elegant and stable, solid of joint and of quality craftsmanship
Kneehole height of 63.5cm (25”)

Generous circular top with moulded edge profile
Raised on four, sinuous cabriole legs with scrolled terminals
Open central column dressed with a bold, attractively turned finial
