This is a vintage decorative stick stand. An English, leather basket or storage bin, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1940.

Beautifully weathered from decades of faithful service
Displays a desirable aged patina throughout
Leather tanned with deep amber hues, in a pleasingly time-worn order
Presenting a delightfully clean, Hessian-lined interior

Dressed with a rolled leather carry handle, making it suitable for the garden or indoors
Remnants of the United Kingdom Coat of Arms to the front fascia
Base stamped with the monogram of B.H & G Ltd, and the date of manufacture - September 1940
