This is an antique calligrapher's chest. An English, mahogany estate made tabletop chest of drawers, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.
- Superb desk or table top storage with a charming hand-made appearance
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
- Select stocks present fine grain interest and warm caramel hues
- Arranged as a quartet of graduated drawers, dressed with circular brass pulls
- Inset brass-lined locks to each fascia — in working order, key present
- Each drawer box presented in a natural finish
- Raised upon four bracket feet beneath a broad lower apron
- Ideal for storing documents, small drawings or other paper crafts
