This is an antique gentleman's chest of drawers. An English, oak tallboy of squat proportion, dating to the Georgian period and later, circa 1800.
- Wonderfully figured and presenting fine colour
- Displaying a desirable aged patina throughout
- Select oak shows fine grain interest and an abundance of medullary rays
- Rich caramel hues beam beneath a wax polish finish
- Arranged as two upper drawers over three graduated, full width drawers
- Each dressed with brass drop handles over circular backs
- Drawer boxes benefit from the bountiful grain interest of English oak
- Standing upon delightful ogee bracket feet to each corner
