This is an antique decorative sconce. An American, carved oak figural candle bracket, dating to the late 18th century, circa 1800.

Wonderfully naive carving to this fascinating American sconce
Displays a desirable aged patina
Carved oak offers deep russet hues beneath a wax polish finish
Figural masque sits below a usefully flat candle surface with chipped edge
Bountiful grapes decorate the tapering lower from
Dressed with a small brass hanging loop for ease of wall mounting
